Dutch artist Coos Dieters was born in Scheemda, Groningen on 7 October 1946. He gained his diploma from the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1974. Coos subesequently held – or took part in – numerous exhibitions in the Netherlands, Japan and around Europe. Between 1982 and 2011, Coos taught at various art academies in the Netherlands and in Budapest. In 2003, he started De GrafiekDrukkerij with his partner, Carola Rombouts. His publications include a luxury presentation of Die schöne Müllerin in 2013.
